The guided tour of the tower lasts about 1- 1.5 hours. If there are a lot of questions or discussion it could go a bit longer so please tell us if you have a time constraint and we contain our enthusiasm for the subject and move it along! We start in the Big House and tell you about the history of the castle and our own journey of renovation. Then we enter the tower and go from ground floor to top of parapet (weather permitting). People do need to be able to climb the stairs, and there is a handrail on each side. There is seating at each level to rest. If people have mobility challenges, they are welcome to go in as far as they want and stop at that level. The first 30 minutes is on the ground floor. Do you have children in your group? We strive to keep them entertained and engaged by having them hunt for our visiting mice (not live) and find things in the paintings!

"Our family visited and Liz put on a thoroughly engaging tour for children and grown ups - complete with let's find the mice and how the castle toilets worked! Now when we drive by an ivy covered tower house ruin we know how cozy and livable these structures really were. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend."
"Really well spent hour and a half touring Sigginstown Castle. Tour was very interesting for the adults and the 2 kids. Lots of information about the castle, it's history for the past 500 years. Amazing restoration work carried out by them, well worth a visit very close to Wexford."
"An absolute hidden gem, lived in Wexford whole life and never new it was on my doorstep. Beautiful tower house, amazing restoration with a great tour. Really looking forward to their experience nights and tours. Definitely a must do, even with the kids.
